Karan Johar recalls attending Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra’s wedding in Manchester; Says: “I was so hyper and hysterical”

director-producer Karan Joharwho hosts the popular streaming show ‘Koffee With Karan’ recalled how he managed to get the actor to attend Rani Mukherjee and film director-producer Aditya ChopraAt a destination wedding, when KJo’s own film was about to hit theaters.
Karan also revealed that Adi and Rani had a falling out Manchester.
Bollywood stars Rani Mukerji and Kajol grace the controversial sofa in the upcoming episode of the show.
The two ladies, who are also cousins, shared the screen in KJo’s directorial debut ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and had a lot to discuss with the show host during the episode.
While talking to the ladies, Karan recalled how he attended Rani and Aditya’s wedding when his own play ‘2 States’ starring Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor was in production.
Destination weddings are trending right now, but Karan revealed the OG couple who were the first to do it in B-town.
Talking about this, Karan said, “Kajol, you actually knew Adi even before Rani. He is my best friend in the whole world. We have to talk about when Rani and Adi got married. It was a destination wedding. They actually started the movie star destination wedding, if anyone knows , I don’t even want to say where it was, because I think it will still release me like decades later.
He also mentioned, “He’s literally threatening me that if I ever post a photo of him and me, we’ll take it every Diwali. But as he told me, ‘Meri shaadi ho rahi hai, 18 people are present. If the sound is heard. You will be at this wedding. The only one who will open his mouth is you, if I see that this wedding is mentioned in any publication, then the newspapers would still dominate.”
