Randeep Hooda confirms wedding with Rin Laishram will take place without any Bollywood glitter

Hyderabad: Actors Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram are scheduled to exchange vows in a private ceremony scheduled for Wednesday in Lin’s hometown Imphal, Manipur. The couple, who have arrived in Imphal, are preparing for a celebration that will feature the presence of close friends. During a visit to a temple in Imphal, Randeep admitted that his wedding to Lin will be devoid of the Bollywood glamor.

Before their marriage, Randeep and Rin visited a temple to seek divine blessings. At Heingan in Imphal East district, the couple, gracefully decked out in traditional attire, went to a local temple to seek blessings. Following their prayers, Randeep, who is known for his role in ‘Sarvijit’, said, ‘I wish you a happy future, peace in Manipur and around the world, a happy married life and many more. It will come true. I hope so.”

When asked about other Bollywood celebrities attending the upcoming wedding, Randeep said, “It’s just us.” Regarding pre-marriage emotions and tension, he said, “Well, it’s something everyone feels.” The couple also visited Shri Govindaji temple and offered prayers.

The announcement of their formation was made last Saturday through a joint message on their Instagram profiles. Their message is similar to the story of the marriage between Arjuna and the Manipuri warrior princess Chitrangada in the epic Mahabharata, and is scheduled for November 29, 2023 in Imphal, followed by a reception in Mumbai. He has expressed immense joy about his impending marriage. They sincerely asked for blessings and love for the fusion of diverse cultures and expressed gratitude for the support they received.

Lin was recognized for her roles in Mary Kom, Rangoon and Axon, and made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with Om Shanti Om. Meanwhile, Randeep, who will soon be seen in the film ‘Swantantra Veer Savarkar’, is heavily involved in directing and co-writing the film along with Utkarsh Naithani. The film is a biopic on the life of famous freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, popularly known as Veer Savarkar.
