Netflix launches into 2024 with many highly anticipated films such as “Lift,” “Society of the Snow,” “Griselda,” and “The Brothers Sun.”

Hollywood, California – Netflix is ringing in the new year with a number of highly anticipated new shows that are sure to wow everyone in January 2024.
Streaming fans, buckle up! It’s going to be a bumpy ride when the hit movie “Lift” hits Netflix on January 12. The action comedy stars Kevin Hart as Cyrus Whittaker, a professional thief recruited by Interpol agent Abbey Gladwell (Gugu Mbatha-Raw). ) To accomplish the heist of the century: stealing $500 million in gold from an airliner at 40,000 feet. His heist crew includes wizard Denton (Vincent D’Onofrio), charioteer Camilla (Ursula Corbero), sage Magnus (Billy Magnussen), and digital artist N8 (Jacob Batalon). Can they all survive the turmoil?

What if your plane crashed deep in the Andes, where temperatures can reach 40 degrees below zero? What if the rescue team cannot locate you until 72 days have passed? “Society of the Snow” also hits Netflix in January. Based on real-life events, the Spanish-language survival drama — which is a major contender in the 2024 Oscar race for Best International Picture — tells the nearly impossible story of the 16 passengers who survived the 1972 Andes flight disaster in Uruguay. Be warned. : What actually happened during those 72 days is not for the faint of heart.
Among the highly-anticipated original series set to debut on screen in January are “The Brothers Sun,” an action-packed drama starring Michelle Yeoh as the tough family matriarch Mama Sun, as well as “Griselda,” a drama series About the crime, starring Sofia Vergara as the famous Colombian drug dealer, Griselda Blanco.
Netflix will also welcome several popular movie franchises, such as “John Wick,” “Mama Mia,” “Meet the Fockers” and “Jurassic Park.”
