Actor Rajkummar Rao’s flawless performances over the years have established him as a perfectionist and an actor who brings life to every character he plays.
The way he transforms himself into his roles has earned him his place as the best method actor in the film industry.
He doesn’t just play a character. He becomes them. His projects like ‘Bose: Dead/Alive’, ‘Shahid, Trapped’ or the upcoming film ‘Srikanth’ have proven that the actor deserves to be called one of the most powerful performers in Bollywood.

In ‘Srikanth’, in which Rao plays the role of blind businessman Srikanth Bora, Rao refused to step out of the role throughout the shoot.
The film crew helps and guides him as he walks from point A to point B. In “Bose: Dead / Alive” the actor gained weight by 13 kg, half of his head was shaved, for which most of the actors used prosthetic legs.
In Trapped, he stopped eating for two weeks and lost 7kg. Omerta, directed by Hansal Mehta, is known to have influenced Rajkummar Rao. In fact, he got so deep into his role that when his wife Patralekar met him, she said the actor wasn’t her. She left saying that he didn’t have the “Raj energy” but did have the energy of the character.
