British envoy asks for Hindi film recommendations

British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis recently shared a list of Hindi movies he has watched and asked for more movie recommendations. German minister amused by UPI payments in India

While we Indians are used to making UPI payments at every step, the German ambassador was quite fascinated after completing the transaction. German Minister Volker Wissing visited India during the G20 summit, shopped at a market in Bangalore, made a UPI payment there and was filled with awe and fascination when he learned that the payment was successful. The German Embassy praised India’s digital progress and said, “One of India’s success stories is its digital infrastructure. With UPI, anyone can conduct transactions in seconds. Millions of Indians People are using it. Federal Digital and Transport Minister @Wissing was able to experience first-hand the simplicity of UPI payments and was fascinated.”
