‘Don’t turn Sushant Singh Rajput’s death into a profit’, SSR’s elder sister Meetu Singh slams those running fundraisers in the late actor’s name
June 14, 2021, will mark late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s first death anniversary. Reportedly died by suicide as he was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra. However, the investigation is on in his death case as his family filed a case against Rhea Chakraborty. Ahead of his first death anniversary, many of his fans have already started pouring in their tributes. Amidst this, SSR’s elder sister Meetu Singh has made a harsh tweet. She has warned all those who are running fundraisers in Sushant’s name.
In her tweet, SSR’s elder sister Meetu Singh mentioned that the family has not authorized anyone to run any fundraiser and collect donations, neither have they given their nod to any film on his life. She strictly said that the family is not keen on tuning SSR’s tragic death into profit. In a series of tweets, she wrote, “Unfortunately, it has come to our notice that some people are taking advantage of this situation for their own personal benefits which is an unexplainably inhuman act. All these people are required to refrain from doing so. We would also like to bring this to everyone’s notice that the family has not authorized anyone to raise donations or funds in the name of SSR and no one has the consent to make anything about or related to SSR, be it a movie, a book or merchandise. The family is not fond of turning a devastating tragedy into a profit and we will not allow anyone to do so”
On the other hand, Sushant’s US-based sister Shweta Singh Kirti has gone into a solitary retreat for a month. She shared on social media that she will be cherished SSR’s memories in silence. Ankita Lokhande, who was in a relationship with SSR in the past, has also taken a break from social media.
