In an interview with Connect FM Canada, Rahman said: “When I first saw Maidan, there was no CGI. My question was, why make this movie? I’ve already done sports movies, so what’s new in it?” I mean, when I watched it again, I realized there was a lot more that could be done, bringing out the humanity, romance, and strong female characters.”
Furthermore, he added: Therefore, how you accept it is very important. It’s very similar to how you perceive life. Now we have finished the song.
