Lust Stories is an anthology film that explores the themes of sexual relationships, intimacy and pleasure. Directed by Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Dibakar Banerjee and Karan Johar, the film stars Radhika Apte, Bhumi Pednekar, Manisha Koirala, Kiara Advani, Akash Tosar, Vicky Kaushal and Neha Dhupia. ‘Lust Stories 2’ has just released and is directed by R. Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma and Sujoy Ghosh. The standalone sequel stars Mrunal Thakur, Kumud Mishra, Amruta Subhashi, Angad Bedi, Neena Gupta, Kajol, Tamana Bhatia, Tillotama Shome and Vijay Varma. Both movies are streaming on Netflix.
3. Lipstick under my burkha
“Lipstick Under My Burkha” focuses on the secret lives of four women trying to find their freedom and sheds light on the suppression of female sexuality. The film stars Ratna Pathak, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ahana Kumra and Plabitha Borthakur in lead roles, with Sushant Singh, Sonal Jha, Vikrat Massey, Shashank Arora, Vaibhav Tatwawad and Jagat Singh Solanki in supporting roles. It airs on Prime Video.
4. Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare
Directed by Alantrika Srivastava, ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare’ features Konkona Sen Sharma in lead roles and Bhumi Pednekar, Vikrant Massey and Amol Parashar in supporting roles. The film revolves around a Delhi woman and her cousin who are searching for secrets and desires. It’s streaming on Netflix.
