Shriya Jha on how mother Amardeep Jha helped her learn the craft of web series Adrishim

Shriya Jha, daughter of veteran actor Amardeep Jha, entered the acting field around a decade ago. The actor has been a part of several notable TV shows and now he will star in the web series Adrishyam alongside Divyanka Tripathi and Eijaz Khan. In a recent interview, the actor shed some light on his role in the heartwarming series and the support he received from his mother, who is herself an established actress in the industry.

Sharing details about the web series, Shriya Jha told ETimes, “Adrishyam is a unique show and a wonderful concept. When I was offered the program, there was no way I was going to turn it down. Also, sharing screen space with such good actors who know their craft beautifully is just a big plus. I can’t wait for the audience to see what we’ve put together.” He noted that the most important thing for him is how believable the role is. He’s not ready to do a “blink-and-miss role” if it doesn’t affect the role. The story. He added: “I understand , that today’s competition is great and I always try to do my best in everything I get.”

He mentioned how his mother always supported him. “He’s a friend and someone I learned my craft from. It’s always a plus when you have someone so experienced around you to teach you the basics,” said the actor.

Shriya is a famous actress recognized in Telugu movie Geetha, Bengali and Odia movies like Tomar Jonyo, Luchakali, Shatru Sanghar and many more. She also appeared in TV shows like Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se, Uttaran, Nimki Mukhiya and Ziddi Dil Maane Na.

The makers of Adrishyam- The Invisible Heroes released a teaser that got the audience excited about the series. The trailer features Divyanka Tripathi as a caring mother who goes to a mall with her son and spots an adversary with nefarious intentions. Divyanka lies to her son and looks for potential danger in the dressing room. The series is directed by Anshuman Kishore Singh and stars Swaroopa Ghosh, Tarun Anand, Chirag Mehra, Roshne Rai, Parag Chadha, Zara Khan and others. Adrishyam will premiere on Sony Liv. The streaming date is yet to be announced.
