Season 3 of Bridgerton will be split into two parts, premiering in mid-2024

Get ready Pauline fans, Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Fetherington’s love story will finally be told in 2024. Netflix has finally confirmed that the romantic series, BridgertonThe Shonda Rhimes-created streaming service will air in two parts next year. It’s a strategy the streaming platform uses with some of its most popular shows, including Stranger Things and A crown.

After accidentally teasing fans during its release the day before, Netflix has finally come to its senses and announced a premiere date. Bridgerton. On X (formerly Twitter), Netflix wrote: “Rejoice in this most exciting news yet. Season 3 of Bridgerton will debut in two parts: Part 1 on May 16th and Part 2 on June 13th.”

While the streaming platform hasn’t revealed any new footage, it has given eager fans a break as they now have a countdown and a date to look forward to. The third season will focus on actors Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan, who will portray Colin Bridgerton and Penelope Fetherington. This season will also focus on Penelope’s secret identity as Lady Whistledown, a gossip columnist who knows all the secrets of London society.

Based on Julia Quinn’s bestselling novels, every season Bridgerton focuses on another brother. There are eight Bridgerton siblings, so Netflix will be in the romance business for a while. The first season followed the love story of Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dinevoor) and Simon Bassett (Rage-Jean Page), while the second season revolves around older sibling Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and his romance with Kate Sharma (Simon Ashley).
