According to these new suggestions, it is indicated that Kim Soo Hyun received a number lower than what he received for his usual one day role. His salary for his former role was 500 million won per episode. The “good to be bad” actor’s agency, Goldmedalist, appears to have been unimpressed, as it neither confirmed nor denied the claims.

The K-drama’s production team and Studio Dragon also denied the old rumors about Soo Hyun’s hefty salary. If they were right, the estimated fee of 800 million won per episode would round up to 12.8 billion won for the title (with a 16-episode season), which would come to about a third of the 40 billion won production cost. .

Additionally, Queen of Tears writer Park Ji Yoon seems to have influenced the 36-year-old star’s decision. The 2024 series marks their third collaboration, following previous projects My Love from the Star and The Producers.
