Vodafone Idea bundles Disney+ Hotstar in a plan priced at Rs 839.Offers additional data, discounts and ET Telecom

New Delhi: Vodafone Idea has launched new offers for mobile users during the World Cup season, including extra data, instant discounts on long-term validity recharges, and more. These will be available on the telco’s mobile app Vi app.

Vodafone Idea is offering 3 months of Disney+ Hotstar subscription at no extra cost with Vi Rs 839 Hero Unlimited Pack.

“At Vi, we are focused on delivering world-class digital experiences that connect and inspire all Indians to build a better tomorrow,” a Vi spokesperson said. “Vi offers a variety of lucrative deals including recharge gifts, extra data on select plans, cricket contests, gaming offers, and more.”

As part of the offer, Vi is offering a double data offer on the Rs 181 data pack where Vi customers can get 1GB + 1GB data at no extra cost every day.

Additionally, the telco is offering a Rs 30 discount on data packs priced at Rs 418, with Vi users getting 100GB for 56 days.

In addition to this, instant discounts of up to Rs 75 on long-term validity recharges, 30% off on Rs 999, etc. are available on the Fancode web portal through coupon codes on the Vi app.

Vi’s data packs start at Rs 19 and include the Rs 49 SuperDay pack, which gives Vi customers 6GB of data for 24 hours, and the Rs 359 Hero Unlimited pack, which offers 3GB of data per day.

Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio have also launched special data packs and plans targeting digital consumption for the cricket tournament.

Jio has introduced monthly, quarterly, and annual prepaid plans that bundle data, unlimited voice, and a subscription to Disney+ Hotstar mobile.

The ICC World Cup will be telecast on Disney Star India with telecast on Star Sports Network and digital telecast on the network’s video streaming platform Disney+ Hotstar.

Jio’s new prepaid plans include data allowance of 1.5 GB to 2 GB per day, depending on the recharge size. Similarly, a subscription to Disney+Hotstar ranges from 3 months to 1 year depending on the price range of the plan you choose.

Airtel has also introduced the ‘Cricket Pack’ category for prepaid users with larger daily data allowances (from 3GB to unlimited 5G data).
