Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Farooq to make acting debut in new web series First Copy; WATCH teaser

As we celebrate the occasion today (April 11), celebrities have taken over social media to wish their beloved fans and send their best wishes. Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Farooqui also has a great Eid for all his loyal fans today. The stand-up comedian is all set to add another feather to his cap as he ventures into acting.
Munawar Farooq’s First Web Series Teaser:
Through his social media, Munawar Farooqui announced his acting debut in a web series titled First Copy. He also released the official teaser of the series, leaving fans in awe and excited.
The one-minute, forty-three-second teaser takes us back to 1999, when DVDs were a huge trend. Even though the movies hit theaters on Fridays, many have been eagerly creating a “first copy” of the movie on DVD before Thursday’s official release. Munawar Farooq is impressive in the teaser as he portrays a gray character from the world of piracy. He shared the teaser and captioned it “Eid Mubarak”.

As soon as the teaser of the first copy was released, it spread like wild fire on social media. The teaser received a positive response from the netizens. Not only fans but also celebrities flooded the comments section praising Munawar’s acting prowess and congratulating her for her upcoming project.
Bigg Boss 17 fame Abhishek Kumar commented, “Kya bat loved it,” said Suyash Rai, “2 baar wapis dekhaaa… kya lag raaa hai bacchiiiii,” Rinku Dhawan wrote, “Wow congrats,” Sana Maqbool commented did, “Ek number.” And so the comments continued.

Talking about the first copy, Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Farooqui said, “Over the years, my fans have always stood by me and supported me in everything I have done. Therefore, I wanted to give them a special gift this year by announcing this project where they will witness a new side of me. I am eager to see everyone’s answer to this.”
About the first copy:
The lead role is played by Munawar Farooq, the first copy is written and directed by Farhan P. Zama. The web series is produced by Kurji Productions and co-produced by Salt Media. The show’s release date and OTT platform are yet to be announced.
