According to reports, Sara Ramirez’s character Che Diaz will no longer be a part of the upcoming season as their story ended on the spinoff series. As the second season ended, Che also broke up with Cynthia Nixon’s Miranda Hobbes.

American actress Sarah Ramirez is no longer part of it sex and the city spinoff series And just like that. Ramirez played Che, a non-binary comedian, writer and podcast producer who helped Carrie transition from newspaper columnist to sex-advice podcaster, in the show’s two seasons. And just like that.
At the end of the second season, Ramirez’s Che Diaz and Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon) broke up for good and both moved on to pursue new relationships.
Last month, a source close to the production told Deadline that Che’s saga is over and Ramirez will not be returning for Season 3. Earlier this year, the Daily Mail reported that Che was fired over Ramirez’s pro-Palestinian social media posts, but sources told Deadline that this was incorrect.
Ramirez appeared to respond to the news a day later with an Instagram post that read, “Don’t let the tabloids distract you from what’s going on in Gaza. You’ve put in a lot of effort, though.” and just like that I met Miranda, Esq. through Kerry and they hit it off immediately. Miranda begins an affair that leads to her separation from Steve (David Eigenberg) and eventual divorce.
Miranda abandoned her story to accompany Che to Los Angeles in Season 2, where they filmed a pilot for a series they wanted to develop, starring Tony Danza as their father.
When that failed, the couple returned to the East, where things fell apart and their relationship fell apart. The unemployed found me a job in a veterinary clinic, where they met someone new and their saga ended.
Although Ramirez and Nixon’s characters did not have a long-term romantic relationship, they remain close friends. Nixon is now playing Off-Broadway in Jordan Seavey’s film Seven years will disappearDirected by Scott Elliott.
