Amit Sadh‘Short film’Spice‘ has been released otto Recently, the actor has been receiving high praise. He talks about why he chose short films and why he wants to do something not for the fee, but for the love of this craft and the people. on the other hand,”Kai Po Che! The actor spoke about ‘Guspice’ and also revealed why he has been so elusive and how he has found peace in his life. All this and more in this quick chat…

Your short film ‘Ghuspaith’ has been receiving a lot of appreciation ever since it was released in Geo Cinemas on October 6th. What made you join it?

I did this just for the love of art and to support young director Mihir Rath. When I met him, I really liked his enthusiasm and preparation. And of course, the theme was quite thrilling. This was when I was filming Season 3 of ‘Breathe’ and it just took everything out of me. And this was during the second wave of coronavirus. The schedule changed every two weeks. So, I had to cancel twice with Mihir. I said to him, “Look, this is your first movie and my schedule is changing, so I don’t want to mess up your work and your schedule.” So you move on with others. ‘ But he kept saying, ‘No, you’ll just be fine.’ At that time, I just felt responsible. I also felt a duty and responsibility towards him. I had to do this.

Is it creatively satisfying to make short films after making feature films and web shows?

We did this to support short films. It’s not like we’re doing it for a fee or anything. You’re doing it for the love of the craft and the people. So, I did it for the script and I did it for Mihir and I am happy that he made a good film. I hope you all like this movie. I hope this is a good showreel for him to get the kind of job he wants to do. To be honest, I would like to give a huge compliment to Jio for giving this platform to everyone. I think short films, indie films, festival films, independent films need a support system. Plus, you’re not doing movies or anything to showcase your talent. I mean, your talent is there, but after a certain point in your career, you’re either doing movies or telling stories. Because as an actor, that’s your job. Our job is not to show off our talent. Our job is to make better movies. And of course, as your career grows, so do your risks and responsibilities. I am the same as I was 10 years ago. I believe in people. So, on the one hand, I wanted to support Mihir because I loved his enthusiasm and passion. And the other thing is the story, which we dedicated to Siddiqui, the Danish man. He was a photographer-journalist for an international portal, but he was Indian and from New Delhi. He was very fulfilling and there were some beautiful scenes in the movie.

You’ve really grown in your career from TV to movies and now web shows, but you still remain elusive in your personal life…

Thank you for noticing. To be honest, this is not something I made. There is one thing I can do, and that is to stay true to myself. If you are honest with yourself, you will be honest with everything. Very comfortable. I am very satisfied. I feel at peace with my life. For me, that is the greatest gift or accomplishment. Because I had a lot of trouble when I was young. There are so many people who have played a huge role in helping me reach that stage: friends, colleagues, media, fans, people, work. But I’ve been putting a lot of effort on myself to stay simple. To keep life simple. Eliminate complexity. Don’t complicate yourself. I think we achieved that. I’m satisfied with life just for that.

You have also recently returned from a bicycle trip. Does this help you as an actor because it connects you to nature and the real world?

Everything you do outside of daily life, every breath, every thought, every blink of your eye determines who you are and where you are. Whether it’s in a movie, on set, or off cassette tape. I think it’s because of my connection to humanity that I’m able to be happy, to interact with people, to communicate better, to form bonds with people. It’s because of my connection to nature. When you begin to connect with nature, you feel that the element of humanity within you increases. And when you have both humanity and nature within you, life actually begins from there.

Please tell us about your upcoming projects.

There’s already a season.”Duranga‘ Arrival. I’m going to shock the fans and people. I play an anti-hero, but this is my first time. Other than that, I always play the protector and savior. So I came out of my comfort zone and tried something and I’m so excited to share it with people. It will be released in October. And there are some movies that are ready, but I haven’t done a cameo in them. He’s a full-fledged character. The preparation is now complete. And things will become clearer in a few months.
