As Luke Skywalker once proclaimed in a galaxy far, far away, “No one ever really disappears.”

And the same goes for your favorite TV series of all time.

Indeed, after everything from the most beloved sitcoms of the past decade to the legendary mini-action shows of the ’70s finally came to an end, it may have seemed like it was really over. But you better believe that none of the hilarious, thrilling, or simply iconic shows on this list are the least likely to make a comeback in the next few years.

However, this is simply a case of all of the creators behind these series deciding to reunite the band and pump out a few more familiar episodes of side-splitting comedy and gripping legal drama. Not.

Some of the next unexpected revivals and reboots include hilarious live-action shows being thrown into an animated world, protagonists’ genders swapped, and once family-friendly shows geared toward a more adult audience. Sometimes it becomes something.

This is definitely the era of reboots, and these are just a few more famous names you probably didn’t know were recently added to the ever-growing list.

10. Enchanted

Since flying off into the sunset in 1972, there have been numerous attempts to remake the iconic sitcom about a witch settling down with an ordinary guy. In fact, the British version of this classic show made it all the way to the pilot stage in 2008, with Sheridan Smith playing the magical role of Samantha.

In 2005, she appeared in the big screen remake of Bewitched, starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell. However, even though NBC, CBS, ABC, and others all started rebooting the show this century, a direct reboot of the show has never actually materialized.

However, it looks like The Bewitched may finally be making a comeback, as THR reported earlier this year that Sony Pictures TV Kids was looking to bring the series back to screens as an animated show.

Of course, this famous comedy famously boasted an animated opening title back in the day. And her return to the world of witches at home will focus on Samantha and her husband Darrin’s 13-year-old daughter Tabitha as she struggles to make ends meet in middle school and wizard school.

“Hannah Montana meets Harry Potter,” is how Joe D’Ambrosia, executive vice president and general manager of SPT Kids, describes the show. So expect an evil Dark Lord with buckets of magic, a blonde wig, and a pet snake…probably not.
