When will the 2023 F1 Qatar Grand Prix be held?

This year’s race will be held on Sunday, October 8th and will be broadcast on ESPN’s main channel at 12:55 PM ET in Losail at a very US-friendly time slot.

As this is a sprint-style weekend, qualifying will take place on Friday after one practice session. The sprint event will be held on Saturday after the “Sprint Shootout” qualifying.

What happened at the last F1 Qatar Grand Prix?

Lewis Hamilton took his first and only victory to date by defeating Red Bull’s Max Verstappen at the 2021 Qatar Grand Prix. No races were held in 2022 due to the Soccer World Cup.

Fernando Alonso took third place for Alpine, ending his F1 podium drought that lasted until 2014.
