Sara Ali Khan posted that although she confidently acted in films with Kedarnath and Simmba, none of her projects did wonders for her career and the only saving grace was Atrangi Re. The two films she appeared in during that time were remakes – Coolie No 1 Varun Dhawan and Love Aaj Kal with Kartik Aaryan.
And considering the public reaction to these films, the actress has decided not to say yes to any more remakes. Sara spoke about it in an interview with Deccan Chronicle when she was asked if she would like to remake her mother Amrita Singh’s film. She says she has done two remakes and has learned that there are some works she shouldn’t touch.
She added that although she does look like her mother, the media won’t overlook her unless she acts like her mother, and she doesn’t want that.
The actress got her mojo back with the success of Zara Bakke Zara Bakke and Vicky Kaushal We have some interesting movies to choose from, starting with ‘Mubarak Murder Case’ starring Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor. She also has Metro…in Dino opposite Aditya Roy Kapur and E Watan Mere Watan from Karan Johar’s production house. She recently made a special appearance in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani along with Ranveer Singh.
