Jeff Bezos biopic now available for free on Amazon, perhaps the worst wooden movie of all time, based on a children’s book

The movie “Bezos: From Zero to Hero” is currently showing on Amazon’s free channel Freevee.

The film, also known as “Bezos: The Beginning,” is based on a defunct 33-page children’s book called “From Zero to Hero,” self-published by a woman named Tanesha Ebanks. There is no information about this book or its author that is not available on Amazon.

movie. I watched it in horror. One of the worst things ever made. It features wooden acting that could frame a house, stilted dialogue, and an arrogant historical revision that makes Bezos look like a saint. You probably won’t see it. But I’ve never seen anything like it.

Involved in this business is Emilio Estefan, the husband of singer Gloria. He plays Bezos’ Cuban father. Estefan is a talented drummer, but he is not an actor. No one else is involved in this movie.

“From Zero to Hero” actually seems like a movie that takes a children’s original and adapts it for adults. It seems more recited than acted, entrenching the notion that Bezos is a genius and everyone around him is an idiot who can’t understand him. At the end of the movie, when Amazon is starting to take off, one of his original partners tells him that if he had known his true worth, he would have gotten it. What this means is that Bezos was right to deceive and ignore those who supported him.

There is no mention of Mr. Bezo’s later bad marriages, affair with a cheap married woman, divorce, National Enquirer scandal, transformation from bush to gym rat, acquisitions of the Washington Post and MGM.

This may be why From Zero to Hero is now available to watch on FreeVee. This was an early part of Amazon Prime and was available on Apple TV. But Bezos clearly wants to make it easy for everyone to see. This is a press release for 2 year old children.

Only 4 people have reviewed “From Zero to Hero” on Rotten Tomatoes. It’s 50. I don’t know if anyone else has seen it.
