The Marvels Bombs Opening at Box Office with $47 Million – The Hollywood Reporter

Wonders The box office debut is not great.
From Marvel Studios and Disney, the superhero tentpole opened to an estimated $47 million at the domestic box office to rank as the worst start in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It also trailed expectations overseas, launching to $63.3 million from 51 physical markets for a global debut of $110.3 million against a massive $200 million production budget.

Alexander Payne Retainers (Focus Features) followed at No. 6 with $3.2 million as it expanded to 778 theaters for an early domestic total of $4.3 million.
Sony is affirming based on faith Trip to Bethlehem It opened in seventh place with $2.4 million from 2,002 cinemas.
