‘Genie’ Opens as Peacock’s Biggest Original Movie Ever – The Hollywood Reporter

Richard Curtis (Love indeed, yesterday) wrote the film, which is based on his 1991 BBC television show Bernard and the Genie. Sam Boyd (“Love Life”) directed the film from Working Title and Universal Pictures. The film was produced by Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner, Riva Marker and Curtis. McCarthy, Carolyn Jaczko, Alexandra Lowe, Sarah Jane Robinson, Nicole King and Stacey O’Neill are the executive producers.
