Since the release of Animal on December 1st, many people have been discussing the film’s “misogynistic” approach and the “toxic” behavior of its protagonist, Rannvijay Singh aka Vijay (Ranbir Kapoor). Shah Rukh had played negative roles in films such as “Daar” released in 1993, “Baazigal” and “Anjaam” (1994), but these films glorified murder and torture. When asked about his presence, he denied the charges.

He said, “Glory tab ho jab war yeh sab ka ke nikal jay. Lekin aga aap in filmn ki ending deke, toh mujhe. Itna mala hai end meen… itoni buri tala pithai hoti hai. So I don’t think Kishi Jaguar’ glorifies kiya hai (violence)… It’s entertainment I… I have never had a negative reaction… Aage bhi mein jo aise role kalunga wo saaf audience ki baarai ke liye hain although I did not face the consequences. , I have been badly beaten in all these films… I will continue to play such roles for the audience. ”

The actor recalled that women praised his roles in these films, children said his acting was good and even called him ‘Baajgar uncle’. When asked if he had ever thought about the negative impact his character would have on the safety of people, especially women, director Shah Rukh replied that he, like the rest of the staff, was only a “small part” of the film. “I have no intention of accepting it,” he said. I take full responsibility for this film. The actor further added that people are “intelligent enough” to not blindly copy characters.

Shah Rukh was last seen in ‘Jawan’ and before that, it was in 2023’s another blockbuster ‘Pattern’. The actor is currently preparing for the release of ‘Danki’ which will be released on December 21st.
