In a recent conversation with his co-star Saurabh Sachdeva, Jaideep shared an anecdote about his experience working in “Raazi”. He mentioned that it was his first nightmare and that he was really scared as he was deeply involved in the world of espionage at that time and had read a lot of books about it. He recalled waking up and seeing people running around with guns and bombs.

Jaideep also revealed that he doesn’t like watching his own work as he is often disappointed with his own acting. However, it took him about two months to watch his most successful film, “Paatal Lok”, and he credited the director’s influence for finally watching “Raazi”. He mentioned that director Meghana Gulzar and co-star Alia Bhatt even threatened to block his number if he didn’t watch the movie and he eventually saw it at its fourth screening.

Jaideep also shared an anecdote from the shoot of his film “Raj” in Patiala. He mentioned that he had to do a close-up shot on the last day of the schedule and ran out of time. Despite not being able to see it on the monitor, he was confident that the three different takes would be successful. The pressure on him was intense, but it ultimately enhanced his performance.

Upcoming projects for Jaideep Allawat include Aamir Khan’s son Junaid’s film “Maharaj” and a Siddharth Anand-backed film starring Saif Ali Khan.
