Fresh off the success of a critically acclaimed film 12th failure, Vikrant Massey candidly talks about his experience on set. In a recent interview, the actor revealed that director Vidhu Vinod Chopra claims to have uncanny similarities with Boman Irani’s iconic character Virus (played by Boman Irani) . three idiots.

Massey spoke with Samdish and provided some interesting details about Chopra’s personality and work ethic. “Vidhu Vinod Chopra is incredibly passionate,” he revealed. “He still works 16 hours a day, goes to bed at 2 a.m., and still wakes up for a 7 a.m. walk. He’s a faster walker than I am. The food he gets at his house is great. He has a five-star chef in his house.”

But what really intrigued Massey was Chopra’s dedication to everyday life. “He’s been taking afternoon naps for 30 years,” Massey explained. “Recently, I started listening to his 28-minute podcast. No matter where you are in the world, you follow your circadian cycle.”

Interestingly, Massey drew parallels between Chopra’s habits and the eccentric “Virus” character. “Vir Sahastra Buddha is inspired by Vidhu Vinod Chopra,” he declared. “Like Virus was lying down and shaving, that’s Vidhu Vinod Chopra!”

The interview also delved into Massey’s own career path. He has openly talked about quitting a high-paying television job to pursue his movie dreams. “I was making good money on television,” he admitted. “I bought my first house at the age of 24, but the regressive content was stifling. I longed to explore film.” His decision surprised his family. “They were shocked,” he said. “I was earning a monthly salary of 35 million rupees, which is a huge amount for someone from my background. But I was yearning for a good job and peace.”

Despite his initial struggles, Massey persevered. he confessed. “When I had a monthly contract of Rs 35 million, I quit television. I decided to get a good job and find peace. My savings were depleted in a year, and then… My wife Sheetal (his girlfriend at the time) also gave me some pocket money for the audition. ”
