Meghna Ghai Puri, daughter of renowned Bollywood director Subhash Ghai and director of a film school, addresses the media on International Women’s Day and highlights the importance of creating a conducive environment for women in the film industry did.

Looking back on her childhood, she said, “When I was a kid, I used to read a lot about Steven Spielberg. He used to work 9-5 and take his kids to and from school.” .

Concluding her statement, Meghna said, “Internationally, the culture of having a life-work balance started back then and I feel it is very important to do the same in India.Today, both women and men… I am committed to developing my abilities equally.” With families and so many responsibilities, cultural changes in our working environment and pedagogy will allow more women to join the industry in the future. ”
