Singer Himesh Reshammiya meets with a car accident is untrue; clarifies

Bollywood singer-music director Himesh Reshammiya’s car has met with an accident this morning on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway. As per sources, Reshammiya’s driver Ram Ranjan is injured. However, the singer was not inside the car. Reportedly, an investigation has been launched in the matter.
Speaking about the incident, Reshammiya said, “I was not in the car, and the driver is absolutely fine. His foot is injured and he is in the hospital. We will be back soon. He was hit by a car when he came outside his car to go to the washroom. His car was also hit from the back by the other car. He is not my driver but he is my dad’s driver. I’m absolutely fine, the news that I met with an accident is absolutely wrong.
Himesh Reshammiya rose to fame with singles like ‘Aashiq Banaya Aapne’, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’, ‘Tera Suroor’. The singer-music director has also played the lead in films like ‘Aap Kaa Surroor’, ‘The Xpose’ among others.
On the work point, Himesh Reshammiya had recently announced his return to films with as many as four projects. The actor is planning a biopic based on the life of Bishnu Shrestha, an army officer, Himesh had bought the rights to present the story on the silver screen.
