Shaitan Box Office Collection Day 5: Ajay Devgn, Jyothika, R. Madhavan’s film drops in revenue to around Rs 7,000 crore | Hindi Movie News

Shaitan, starring Ajay Devgn, Jyothika and R Madhavan, performed well on Monday, earning Rs 7.25 billion, though it was down 50 per cent from Friday’s box office. The supernatural horror thriller, directed by Vikas Bahl, continued to see declining returns on Tuesday.

According to Saknilk, Shaitan is expected to gross around Rs 6.50 crore on its fifth day, with a total Hindi share of 13.38 per cent and an overall box office collection of Rs 67.75 billion.

It is important to note that Friday coincided with the public holiday Mahashivratri, which may have increased the collection by around 30-35 per cent. Going forward, the film’s first week box office revenue is expected to exceed 80 billion rupees.

The film’s success in the coming days will largely depend on whether it can maintain its momentum. If the film continues to do well, ‘Shaitan’ is expected to be a success till Eid even though other films will be released in March.



Shaitaan is a Hindi remake of the 2023 Gujarati horror film Vashu, written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. The film is produced by Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak.
