Nikhil Advani recently claimed that there is no unity in the Hindi film industry.

While praising the professionalism of the southern film industry, especially Tamil and Telugu films, director Nikhil expressed his disappointment with the Hindi film industry. He said, “There is no unity in the Hindi film industry.As a child, I admired what Yash Chopra and Yash Johar used to do.Yash Johar worked as a production manager at Navketan and RK Films. We used to work. Not the way Ramesh Sippy and BR Chopra used to do it, but we don’t have it. But now we are busy competing and don’t celebrate each other. I The first thing we must do is come together and say, “We are one.” Unfortunately, we haven’t agreed on anything, whether it’s the release window or the distribution module. Each one is his own. Vinod Chopra will try to be some kind of rebel and others will call him a lunatic. ”

Nikhil Advani worked as an Associate Director with YRF and Dharma Productions.

Nikhil previously produced Rani Mukerji’s courtroom drama Mrs Chatterjee vs. Norway and the 2023 feature film Dry Day. The filmmaker made his directorial debut in 2003 with Karan Johar’s Kal Ho Naa Ho. After that, he directed films like ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’ and ‘Chandni Chowk’. To China, Patiala House, D-Day. Nikhil has previously worked as an Associate Director at Kuchi Kuchi Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, and Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Ghum.

Nikhil’s next film Vader will feature John Abraham, Sharvari Wagh, Tamana Bhatia, Abhishek Banerjee and Ashish Vidyarthi in important roles. The film is a joint venture between Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment. Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, John Abraham and Meenakshi Das have co-produced this action thriller. Scheduled to be released on July 12, 2024.
