Set in the quaint town of Chanderi, the film revolves around a local legend of a vengeful street man who preys on lonely men wandering the streets at night. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Aparshakti Khurrana, Shraddha Kapoor, and Pankaj Tripathi.

At the center is a tailor played by Rajkummar Rao. His only wish is to tie the knot. In the midst of a bustling city fair, he passes by a mysterious young woman who only appears under the light of the moon. 2. Bulbul

Bulbbul, a historical horror film set in the 1880s, has emerged as a memorable take on the genre in Bollywood. Like Shaitan, it delves into the rich tapestry of Indian folklore. At its core is the haunting legend of Chudale or Dayan, a ghostly entity born from the ashes of a woman who met a violent end. It reflects the harsh reality faced by Indian women through such myths. Apart from his Tripti Dimri, Bulbbul also includes Parambrata Chatterjee, Paoli Dam, Rahul Bose and Avinash Tiwary.

Tripti Dimri leads the cast as the young bride of a feudal lord. In the complex web of patriarchy, she uncovers whispers of malevolent forces that lurk in the shadows and prey on the men in her community.
