Jack Black returned to the role of Po in “Kung Fu Panda 4” after an eight-year hiatus and is now making a huge splash around the world, including India. But after an excellent second weekend, the film’s decline continues for the second time in a row.

The film earned around Rs 16.95 billion in its first week and around Rs 7.78 billion in its second weekend, even though Monday was a holiday in most parts of India due to Holi festival. Considering this, it was expected that the performance would continue to be strong. However, the film only collected Rs 1.26 billion, nearly 60% less than its Sunday box office collection of Rs 3.25 billion. And on Tuesday, the film’s box office revenue fell by 50% to just Rs 64 million, taking its overall box office collection to Rs 2,664 million. The industry expects the film’s box office collection to cross at least Rs 300 crore by the end of this week.

The makers also recently released a video of ace cricketer Hardik Pandya and Kung Fu Panda protagonist Po. This time, Jack Black is accompanied by Awkwafina, Bryan Cranston, James Hong, Ian McShane, Ke Hui Quan, Dustin Hoffman, and Viola Davis.
