Marking the first anniversary of Pattern, actor John Abraham on Thursday said the intense spy thriller will forever remain as the film that restored the glory of the Hindi film industry.

Pathaan, the fourth film in Yash Raj Films’ spy universe, stars John as Jim, a former Indian agent turned rogue who comes face-to-face with the titular spy played by Shah Rukh Khan. . It hit the screens on January 25, 2023.

The film, directed by Siddharth Anand, marked Shah Rukh’s spectacular comeback on screen after nearly five years. The film was also the first hit Hindi film of 2023, grossing more than Rs 1 billion at the worldwide box office.
