The presidents of the Indian Film and Television Directors Association and the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPAA) have reacted to the uproar.
Salman Khan’s safety has once again come under scrutiny after two people on bicycles opened fire outside his house on the morning of April 14th. After the incident, surveillance cameras captured the two riding around on bicycles. Several celebrities condemned the incident as security was beefed up outside his home, Galaxy Apartments in Bandra.

Film director Ashok Pandit, president of the Film and Television Directors Association of India, told ETimes, “For a very long time, there has been a perception of threat to Salman Khan’s life. That’s why the state of Maharashtra had previously found a letter threatening his life, and the two bikers who opened fire outside his house especially show the tenacity of these criminals. So are the people who threatened him before.”

Pandit further expressed confidence that the bikers would be arrested soon, saying, “I am confident that the Mumbai Police in Maharashtra will soon arrest these two bikers who opened fire in front of their house. “On behalf of film and television directors,” he added. The association and the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPAA) would like to express our concern for Salman Khan’s life, his protection and dignity and the State of Maharashtra will definitely look into this and take action on this. I am confident that this will be achieved. The act will never be repeated. ”

According to reports, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also spoke to Khan and requested the chief secretary to tighten security for the actor.
