For Guru, acting in a movie is very different from acting in a music video. “There’s a certain sense of security that comes with facing the camera for so many years. But what’s different now is that I used to be comfortable lip-syncing, but when it comes to acting, it’s different. “I went to an (acting) coach and asked him to teach me how to express emotions, how to deliver lines, and how to act out scenes,” she says, finding similarities between singing, dancing, and acting. Guru wants to go to America and work on singing and acting projects there. “I want to go to Hollywood and that will be my final exam.
