Danki Advance Box Office Collection: Shah Rukh Khan’s film takes on Prabhas’ Salar to grab audience’s attention | Bollywood News

After the success of ‘Pasaan’ and ‘Jawan’, Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan is gearing up to release his third film this year. The film is titled ‘Danki’ and will be the actor’s first collaboration with him. Film director Rajkumar Hirani The movie will be released in theaters on December 21st. Advance ticket sales for the film will begin on Saturday, with The SRK starrer collected Rs 1.36 crore.

According to industry tracker Saknilk, around 38,000 tickets for 2,836 performances in Hindi were sold on the first day of pre-booking.

However, Dhanki will likely clash at the box office with Prabhas and Prashanth Neel’s pan-India action-packed film ‘Salaar’. Release date is December 22nd. Advance ticket sales for Salar began on December 15 and collected a staggering Rs 1.52 billion in sales.

Film industry analyst Sumit Kader posted on X that the box office performance of “Danki” will be known in the next three days. He writes: “Danki’s first pre-sales have started on a great note. The film has sold over 10,000 tickets at multiplexes across national chains. Non-national chains are also doing well. If this momentum continues, , Danki will take on the top films of 2023 in terms of final advance bookings. We will get a clear picture in the next three days.”

SRK on Saturday appealed to his fans to book tickets for Dhanki. He picked up his X-handle and wrote:Isse pehle ki Hardy cinemas mein pahoch jaaye…Aur saare is showing houseful ho jaaye…Aap apni Book tickets and kallo! Kyun ki jab hardy aur aske yaar ajenge, sabke dil rut pat jayenge. ”

Compared to Jawan and Pattern, Danki is slow in selling advance tickets. The jawan managed to sell 2,00,454 tickets i.e. he worth Rs 6.84 crore within 24 hours of starting ticket sales. Similarly, in a pattern, he sold nearly 117 million tickets on the first day of advance reservations across his three movie theater chains across the country, despite limited venue sales.

Dhanki also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover and Boman Irani in important roles. A week before her release, Dhanki got the green light from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). This film she was screened on December 15th and got U/A certificate. The running time is scheduled to be 2 hours and 41 minutes.
