Ayalaan: Director AR Rahman says Sivakarthikeyan starrer will be the next ET in Indian cinema at the film’s audio launch

Sivakarthikeyan’s new film ‘Ayalaan’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated upcoming films. The film has been in the making for quite some time and the makers have also postponed the release date several times. However, earlier this month, the makers confirmed that the film will be released on January 12, 2024, during the Sankrati/Pongal period.

As the release date approaches, the makers of the film are currently busy with promotions. In fact, on December 26th, an audio launch event for the film was held, with the entire cast and crew of the film in attendance. Key cast and crew members including director R Ravikumar, music director AR Rahman, producer Kotappadi J Rajesh and several others also spoke about their experience working on the film.

AR Rahman says R Ravikumar is putting his career at risk.

Speaking at the event, veteran music director AR Rahman revealed that he is very apprehensive about working with computer graphics. However, he added that “Ayaaraan” is well made, even comparing it to Steven Spielberg’s 1982 science fiction film “ET.” Director AR Rahman also said that director R Ravikumar risked his entire career for this film.

Launch of Ayalaan Audio

The audio launch of Ayalaan was held on December 26th at Taj Hotel, Chennai. The chief guest at the event was filmmaker Mari Selvaraj, who spoke very favorably of not only Ravikumar but also Sivakarthikeyan. He expressed his desire to work with Marvelous actors in the future and even said that he would wait patiently for that day.

In his speech, director Ravikumar thanked the entire team and also thanked actor Siddharth, who provided the voice of the alien for free. The director also thanked actor Venkatesh, who filmed the alien’s actions, and the technicians who helped film the alien’s facial expressions.
