Upcoming Kannada-language films

In pursuit of solving a long-held mystery of Amaravati, Narayana – the quirky new cop in the town – has to get past a dreaded clan of dacoits and its fierce leader Jairam. Directed by Sachin Ravi, Avane Srimannarayana stars Rakshit Shetty in the lead role.

The film is set in the 1980s and is about a corrupt police officer in a fictional town named “Amaravathi” in Karnataka. The movie is presented in a new genre called the Southern Odd Fiction. Avane Srimannarayana is slated to release in five languages, in Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.

Initially, the team wanted to release the film simultaneously in all five languages on 27 December 2019. But the Kannada version of the film was scheduled to release on the said date, while the Telugu version is scheduled on 1 January 2020, the Tamil and Malayalam versions on 3 January and the Hindi version on 17 January respectively.

Avane Srimannarayana trailer opens in what is said to be a fictional deserted town in South India, where a cop (Rakshit) full of swag arrives at a salon where the board reads – Police Not Allowed. The salon is filled with dreaded criminals who the cop Srimannarayana battles with. The film has themes of fantasy and it could very well be playing in the protagonist’s head. There are also talks of missing loot that two gangs are after. The role of the cop in all this madness is uncertain.

Avane Srimannarayana film’s songs first single “Hands Up” was released in all five versions on 12 December 2019. It was sung by Vijay Prakash with backing vocals by Shashank, Pancham Jeeva and Chethan Naik, with lyrics by Nagarjuna Sharma for the original version, Vivek for the Tamil version, Ramajogayya Sastry for the Telugu version, Sudamsu for the Malayalam version and Irshad Kamil for the Hindi version.

Avane Srimannarayana multi language movie. Avane Srimannarayana 2019 has a fully new concept that could have the potential of having the audience hooked to the screen till the very end.
