The film directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga was released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam on Friday.

A film review in the Hindustan Times said, “‘Animal’ is an absolutely hearty, entertaining and extremely violent thriller that doesn’t believe in following norms.” The gore is not for the faint of heart, so be careful if you decide to watch it, as the amount may be too much to bear. ”
