Diwali this year looks set to provide solid entertainment for movie buffs as five crazy movies are targeting the festive period. They are Game Changer, Kanguva, Vettaiyan, Singham Again, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. First on the list is Game Changer, fronted by Ram Charan. This is a political action drama directed by Shankar. Expectations are high as this is the first time Shankar will be collaborating with a Telugu hero. The female lead is Kiara Advani.
Kanguva is the most expensive project of Suriya’s career. The film is being directed by Sirutai Siva and will be in the vein of Magadheera. The hot trailer for this movie has skyrocketed expectations. Bobby Deol plays the antagonist and Disha Patani plays the female lead.
Rajinikanth’s Bettaiyaan is another big hitter from the south aiming for a Diwali release in 2024. Directed by TJ Gunanavel of Jai Bhim fame, the film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Dussehra Vijayan and Ritika Singh in important roles.
Two of Bollywood’s biggest hits, ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhooraiya 3’, are also aiming for a Diwali release. Both of these franchises have a great following among viewers. Singham Again is a massive multi-starrer starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor in key roles. Rohit Shetty is directing this masala entertainer.
The makers of Bhool Bhualaiyaa 3 have already locked the release for the Diwali season. This horror comedy film stars Kartik Aaryan, Vidya Balan, Tripti Dimri, and Madhuri Dixit. Anees Bazmee, who directed the second part, will also direct this third film.
