Narappa : Victory Venkatesh’s much-awaited movie ‘Narappa’ is one of the highly anticipated films in Tollywood. The film has been in the news for many reasons lately. After Sinnabba murders an upper-caste landlord to avenge his older brother`s death, his father Narappa is forced to flee into the forest. Will he be able to challenge the system?
Narappa is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Srikanth Addala. A remake of the Tamil-language film Asuran (2019) which is itself based on the novel Vekkai by Poomani, the film stars Venkatesh, Priyamani, and Karthik Rathnam. It is being jointly produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu and D. Suresh Babu under their respective banners V. Creations and Suresh Productions. Filming started in January 2020.Mani Sharma composed the film’s music. The film will be premiered on 20 July 2021 on Amazon Prime Video.

Narappa Music
After working as the film scorer in the film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013), this is the second time Mani Sharma, collaborating with Srikanth, and the first time as the composer of the soundtrack album. The first single “Chalaaki Chinnammi” was released on 11 July 2021 through Suresh Productions Music label.

It is now confirmed that ‘Narappa’ will release directly on an OTT platform. The makers have officially announced that the movie will be released on Amazon Prime Video on 20 July 20.

Venkatesh looks ferocious in both his old man and young avatars and it’s apparent that he has delivered a strong performance in the film. His character is seen hunting down and murdering autocrats. Priyamani, who plays Narappa’s wife, makes an appearance in the teaser, along with Karthik Ratnam.
“If we have land, they will seize it,” Venkatesh warns his younger son. “They’ll take our money if we have any. But they will never be able to take away our education.”
